Frames

The premises from which Barbara Gongini goes on in her latest spring summer collection 2012 are definitely advanced: on one hand she's driven by an extreme minimalism, which inevitably leads her to extreme choices, in the other she deconstructs all the classical forms to create a completely new collection that does not conform to any apparent rule. The volumes are independent, the seams do not follow the body's shapes, tears and folds overlap each other creating a new skin, skin that complies and not; this new and different texture, with the characteristic black color, seems to be an extreme annulment of what represent life, form, and dynamism, while manages not to lose these characteristics at the same time.

I presupposti da cui parte Barbara Í Gongini nella sua ultima collezione primavera estate 2012 sono decisamente all'avanguardia : da una parte viene guidata da un estremo minimalismo, che inevitabilmente la porta a scelte estremistiche, dall'altra decostruttivizza completamente le forme classiche per creare nuovi capi che non rispondono a nessuna regola apparente. I volumi sono indipendenti, le cuciture non seguono le linee del corpo, strappi e drappeggi si sovrappongono creando una nuova pelle, una pelle che aderisce e non aderisce, una texture nuova e diversa che, con il caratteristico colore nero sembra essere l'annullamento estremo di ciò che è vita, forma, e dinamismo, pur riuscendo a non perdere queste caratteristiche.
